Rage Burst brief story synopsis.

Personality:
Ciel is one of the quietest, if not the most quiet, member of Blood. She rarely changes her expression, especially when interacting with strangers. Even her speech is rigid as well, giving her a rather cold first impression to most. Even Blood members had difficulty trying to interact with her in the beginning of how distant she is to everything. She also takes things seriously, and tries to handle things professionally as possible. Her seriousness and her inexpressive attitude may make her rather intimidating as first impression to most.
Most of the first impression traits is due to the fact that Ciel actually does not know how to socialize properly and thus gets her misunderstood most of the time. Being raised in a military background, she's trained to be a soldier all throughout her life. Childhood basically did not exist for Ciel. Playing house? Tag? Run around with other kids? She has zero experience of that. The only interactions she has was from her trainers, which is the result of her cool-headed speech pattern. The only time she'd talk is when it's related to work; small talk was out of the question. This proves difficult for her to interact with others, especially when she first joined Blood. Nana and Romeo had difficulty communicating with her due to personality differences. Even Gil couldn't handle how serious she was. It wasn't until the Arc Soldier incident when the protagonist rescued her from the Red Rain where she took a step forward to get out of her shelled up personality. So while she doesn't seem as cold as she did when she first became a God Eater, Ciel is still extremely awkward about striking up conversations that doesn't relate to work.
Because she's been raised in a militaristic environment and had close to no friends for the longest time, Ciel is interested in friendship. She envied how the rest of the Blood seemed so friendly with each other when she joined (she was the last one to join, actually), and tried her hardest to be social as well, so she can break into the group. And because she doesn't know how to socialize properly, she goes about it wrong, where instead of being honest with her feelings she resorts to talk about training regimen to the protagonist. Of course, with how she's been with the other members for so long now, she wouldn't make the same kind of mistake, but there's still a lot more to learn to master her socializing skills. [rewrite]
She has the tendency to lock her emotions up most of the time. It's a means of defense mechanism to get by as a good soldier, and would almost never break down completely. If you lose your cool in the battlefield, it might as well be death to you and your comrades. During one of the times they confronted Rachel after they learned what she was planning, Ciel was the only one who kept calm while the others weren't holding back on showing their anger, and would completely understand Rachel's thoughts. The only time she broke down, though, was when Blood members realized that they couldn't rescue Julius in the first part of the story. Julius, being the longest person she's known other than Rachel, held a special place quite different from what the protagonist held in her heart, and to leave Julius pretty much meant death, even if it ends up being a temporary one in the end.
The protagonist is Ciel's first and closest friend. They hold a special place in her heart, and some might mistaken it to a crush. Maybe that's not wrong. For Ciel, the protagonist is extremely important to her and will be determined to help them out no matter what.
Abilities:
Powers of a God Eater
- The God Arc that she wields gives her the power to defeat the monsters, the Aragami. It stems from the same composition the Aragami has, the oracle cells. Unless the user has the oracle cells that fits with the God Arc injected into themselves, they would be devoured by the God Arc. It usually takes form of either an over-sized gun or a bladed weapon, varying from a three different sizes of blades, hammer type, spear type, or a scythe. While in blade form, the God Arc can tap into the user's oracle cells to devour the target, whether it be to inflict large amounts of damage while taking a portion of the Aragami and turn them into special bullets to either power allies up or to use them against the Aragami for more damage.
Ciel's God Arc is of a short blade and an sniper gun, which enables her to quickly dash in to get closer to the target for quick hits as well as quickly dodge any attacks in both forms. The gun form being sniper gun enables her to get her aim from a distance away.
- The oracle cell is what causes the organism to turn into an Aragami. God Eaters aren't an exception, and to keep them from turning into one is the armlet that all God Eaters wear. It injects the bias factor to keep the oracle cell under control on a periodic basis. the armlet needs to be resupplied with the bias factor periodically as well, and God Eaters cannot go by outside of any facilities with the medicine in stock for an extended amount of time, otherwise they will start mutating into Aragami. Once the mutation starts, there is no way for the God Eater to return to their original form, and must be killed on the spot. There has been exceptions, though, as with Lindow's case in God Eater Burst.
- In addition to that, Ciel is a member of special forces Blood. Blood members get additional abilities to their God Arcs as well as the user themselves. Ciel's power of blood is to assist the members easily track enemy locations as well as health.
Trained Soldier
- While all God Eaters are trained to be well-versed with combat, Ciel in particular has been trained to be a mercenary as long as she can remember. She's been Julius' bodyguard as well. She even carries a knife with her at all times at her leg as well as a handgun, as seen in the official art. All she knows is to fight, to the point where she has some difficulty socializing. If you want to fight, be my guest, but she will prove herself to be an opponent difficult to defeat.
- On the flip side, it also means she's a combat nerd... She has training schedules down to the minutes for her teammates. She tl;drs about aragami bullets.
